Own research laboratory
The main goal of LLC "SIE Astrapharm" in the field of research and development is the creation of new and improvement of the manufactured drugs. This direction is implemented on the basis of its own research laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with the newest pool of equipment of European quality level in accordance with GMP requirements:
- Liquid chromatographs with a diode matrix, allowing you to create libraries of substances spectra;
- Microplate photometers;
- Thermostats with cooling to monitor the stability of developed drugs in conditions of “accelerated aging”;
- Ultrasonic baths;
- The system for receiving bidistilled water;
- Chambers for electrophoresis;
- Chambers for isoelectric focusing;
- Magnetic and overhead stirrers;
- A device for determining the melting temperature;
- High-precision electronic scales and other equipment.
Research and Patents
The activities of LLC "SIE Astrapharm" are carried out in cooperation with a number of veterinary clinics. Clinical studies of drugs for dogs and cats are carried out in veterinary clinics in Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Ryazan, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow. In the process of development, drugs undergo toxicological tests at the testing laboratory center of LLC NBTS "Farmbiomed", Moscow, Russia.
LLC "SIE Astrapharm" has patents for the invention of drugs. Among the patented drugs for cats and dogs: the insecticidal-acaricidal drug BlochNet, patent of the invention No. 2283590; contraceptive drugs Gestrenol and KontrSex Neo, patent of the invention No. 2101013. The Federal Institute of Patent Property decided to grant a patent for a new complex preparation against ecto- and endoparasites IN-AP complex, patent of invention No. 2452180.
